How are the Italian language and culture courses financed?
The Italian State supports the courses in two ways: by sending teaching staff directly from Italy and by contributing to the promoting bodies (such as CASLI).
Families pay an enrolment fee for their children's participation:
CASLI sends families the payment slip. CASLI is non-profit: it is supported by the Italian State and by each family, pays the teaching staff, provides teaching materials and covers all course expenses.
